Whenever you play the claw machine, WATCH the claw. Put in your 50 cents and let it manuever beyond the pit. Then take the joke stick and wiggle it back then forth. Does the claw look loose in anyway? If it is, then that's the first sign it's rigged.
The screws that hold the claw in place are loosened so they can't pick up anything.
Feel free to try it and try to grab a toy. If it just slides off the toy or picks it up only to drop it seconds later, then it's rigged. Take your money and move on to a new machine.
